Welcome to Jones Lang LaSalle’s blog on the CoreNet Global Summit in Singapore. My colleagues and I will be posting live updates on discussion topics and report on the social ‘buzz’ during the event.
Fifteen years ago, Jones Lang LaSalle pioneered the corporate real estate offering in Asia Pacific. I have personally seen our client’s needs change significantly during this time, and I have been fortunate to have worked along side many of them in helping our industry evolve. We saw last year’s economic uncertainty present many challenges for both service providers and CREs, making this year’s theme, “Paradox: Balancing Contradictions in an Uncertain World”, highly topical. While our clients are optimistic about the future, there is still a sense of caution.
My colleagues and I are participating in a number of sessions at the Summit. We are looking forward to sharing our experiences, as well as hearing about emerging trends and joining lively discussions on where the future of CRE is headed.
Make sure you register for our e-mail updates to keep up-to-date with what’s happening at the event. I hope to see you at the Summit – or to swap notes with you here online!
